Shown as the G.S. Moseley house on the 1877 atlas. This
was a drovers tavern. In the early day when all live stock had to be driven
to market, these taverns were a welcome site. This tavern had stock pens
and stables, where the animals could be housed. The tavern provided a good
meal and a warm bed. This tavern was burned down by vandals in the 1970s. |
