This beautiful old two story log house was built in about
1820. It is in fairly good condition at this time, but it;s fate is uncertain.
I believe this to be the home of Samuel W. McDowell a son of William McDowell
and Henrietta Simpson. William McDowell was a son of Samuel L. McDowell
and Mary Chrisman. Henrietta Simpson was a granddaughter of Peter Simpson,
Rev. War Soldier. |
