Membership dues are one of the best genealogy bargains of the year. Benefits of membership include access to the family surname files maintained by the Jessamine County Historical Society, an invitation to the general monthly meetings with various local and regional speakers, access to one-on-one consultations with local researchers and historians, attendance at the annual History Fest potluck, the quarterly newsletter, website and newsletter advertisement for your published books, and the knowledge that your dues are going toward the preservation of historical cemeteries and artifacts in Jessamine County, Kentucky. Levels of membership are as follows:

  • Active Members..................... .$20.00 annually
  • Honorary Members..................$20.00 optional annually
  • Life Members.........................$250.00

You can also help the Jessamine County Historical Society by registering your Kroger Plus card in the Kroger Community Rewards program and designating the Jessamine County Historical & Genealogical Society as your preferred donation organization. The Society will receive monies based upon Kroger purchases by our members.
If you are a proprietor of a business, you may want to consider becoming a sponsor of the Jessamine County Historical Society. Sponsors will be provided a recognition plaque and one active membership per sponsorship. The sponsorship provides all the benefits of an Active Membership, as above, in addition to recognition in the quarterly newsletter and on our website. Levels of sponsorship are as follows:
